Sattva Yoga is a spiritual practice but you don’t have to be spiritual to do it. You can belong to any faith, or not (yes atheists, we’re speaking to you) and still reap the benefits of yoga.

Well, that’s the reason to do yoga, not to avoid it. It doesn’t matter if you can’t touch your toes. Flexibility is not a prerequisite to do yoga. But the willingness to try something new is.

Women may have more readily adapted to the many benefits of yoga, but in fact, when yoga was first birthed in the Himalayas 5000 years ago, it was exclusively a man’s practice.

Yes, in fact a lot of people do yoga teacher training as a way to fully immerse themselves into the world of yoga.

At least 12 months of practice is recommended so that you’re physically prepared and have developed a commitment to the yoga way of life.
